SUP YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

We could not be more excited to announce our first Sydney based SUP Yoga Teacher Training! 

This 3 day intensive will be held over a long weekend in November 2019 and will give you the skills and confidence you need to take your first yoga class onto the water.

With over a decade of experience in all conditions, you're in good hands.

YOU'LL LEARN:
- How to read the water and the weather patterns
- How to anchor and stabilise your class in all conditions
- How to Stand up Paddle board and teach basic lessons to your classes when participants have no experience
- How to modify poses for Stand up Paddle Boards
- How to sequence a class that encourages fun, new challenges and safe body alignment
- Water safety, rescues and how to make sure your class always comes home safe

REQUIREMENTS

 - You need to have confident swimming skills

- Recommended: RYT-200 hr Yoga Teaching Qualification or in progress

- Recommended: CPR/first aid certificate/ Personal Insurance

Do I need to be experienced in SUP Yoga?

It is not necessary that you are an experienced SUP boarder to take this course.
SUP is surprisingly easy to master, and by the end of our course you will be a confident paddler.
However, if you are able to practice before taking the course, it will help your progress.
